12 RODS - Split Personality Outtakes / B-Sides

12 Rods was a local band around these parts. They were signed for a few years to V2 Records, in that time period they released two albums, Split Personalities, and Seperation Anxiety. The following tracks are outtakes from the Split Personality album, well one is a remix, but we'll count it. (Both of these tracks were available for purchase online when the band broke up, still might be, check it out on their website.) For some reason their sound never took off, or wasn't marketable, or some record label politics bullshit. Either way, they have always remained good in my book. I'm glad I was able to catch them live once before they broke up, playing in the basement of the U of M. They kept knocking their shit over and fucking up, so it wasn't a graceful exit by any means, but who wants to be graceful anyway.
